BEV Charging Features: Consumer Interviews with Premium BEV Drivers in the US Market

The UC Davis PH&EV Research Center will conduct a series of interviews of premium BEV drivers in order to understand their use patterns, challenges, and desired functionality for vehicle charging in order to find ways to optimize out of home charging experience. These interviews will be conducted over a virtual video meeting platform and will cover the topics of current public charging use, charging best practices and pain points, as well as users' ideas for ideal charging functionality. The interviews will examine both routine charging and infrequent charging experiences and needs, to better understand experienced EV user's needs, preferences, barriers and wish list.
