Understanding Supply Side Regulation and Public Response to ZEV Adoption and Policies

Event Date

Overview

Vehicle supply side regulations (SSRs) represent an important pathway to decarbonizing the road transport sector by requiring auto manufacturers to meet efficiency, carbon dioxide, or zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) sales standards. In this webinar, researchers will discuss the importance of SSRs in meeting decarbonization goals, how SSRs are constructed, and industry response to these regulations. In addition, researchers will discuss findings from a statewide survey that aimed to understand public sentiments toward California’s ZEV policies.
